Ken Tubman is an accomplished healthcare technology executive with 15+ years leading the design, implementation, and governance of secure, scalable patient services platforms across immunology, neurology, oncology, hematology, dermatology, and rare diseases. Currently serving as Advisor, Healthcare Strategy & Innovation at Smartworks Solutions, Ken brings proven ability to architect and execute enterprise-level digital strategies that align with commercial goals, drive adoption, and ensure compliance.
Ken's healthcare technology leadership includes his recent role as Head of Digital Patient Solutions & Software Medical Devices at Takeda Pharmaceutical, where he designed and executed digital patient services strategy for Hereditary Angioedema (HAE), integrating mobile and connected platforms to improve adherence and generate actionable insights. He established a global Center of Excellence for digital platforms, aligning enterprise and regional stakeholders across 75+ countries.
With expertise spanning platform roadmaps, AI/ML integration, Salesforce ecosystems, and interoperability standards, Ken has successfully directed the development of scalable, secure digital platforms supporting multiple therapeutic areas while ensuring compliance with global regulatory standards including HIPAA, GDPR, ISO 13485, and MDR. His experience includes pioneering partnerships with device vendors, diagnostics firms, and AI algorithm developers for patient monitoring and early detection.
As an entrepreneur and strategic advisor, Ken co-founded DoseSpot LLC, one of the first SaaS-based ePrescribing platforms integrated with EHRs, and founded Claricode Inc, a healthcare software consulting firm partnering with Partners Healthcare and McKesson.
